Do you have any friends with superpowers around you? I do. He has synesthesia, which is a fascinating ability where he automatically sees colors and images in his mind when he hears someone talking, almost like watercolor painting. He says this ability feels innate. Today, let's talk about synesthesia.

Synesthesia is often referred to as a superpower because people who possess this ability blend sensory inputs such as colors, words, or other sensations together naturally. They have an extraordinary sensitivity to what they see and hear, which helps them learn and live, and also helps them create art.

If I were to ask you what color the letter "A" is, you would probably be confused because there is no picture or context, and the answer could be any color. However, for someone with the ability of letter-color synesthesia, they would naturally answer with a specific color (such as red).
